Energy Self-Sufficiency & Extreme Climate Change

Yes, countries are already energy self-sufficient IF THEY CHOOSE TO BE.

Malthusian Economics, not physical resources and limitations on existing technologies, is the key barrier to utilizing the principals of self-sufficiencies.

A mixed-field of energy resources {just like a mixed economy} survives where singular resource-based industries will fail.

The human world's greatest resource is imagination and intellect - and, we limit our ingenuity by the false parameters of currencies.

Global conflict is easily resolved where the combinations of diplomacy, currencies and military meet at a roundtable and begin to justify the very nature of human existence - which may be simply to expand our influence upon the universe.

With the advent of the current flows of extreme climate changes that are unfolding, human social orders are best advised to harbour compassion rather than conflict.

The principal ingredient over the history of human evolution has been our ability to communicate and to reason.

Today, it would be difficult to propose a rational reason for conflict - even within the humour of Galbraith.

Leadership, today, is required through the energy industries, rather than via the houses of theology, to fashion a template for surviving this global climate change that will see 10% of the world's population migrating to safer regions.

And, today, rather than being alarmed about the 23% of seniors who will be entering the marketplace within the next decade, we should be embracing their collective wisdom and experience to {a) talk with nature; and, (b) prepare our homes for survival.

Our corporation Gaia-Watts has advocated establishing self-sufficiency for nearly 20 years. And, today we are bold enough to say that the survivors will be planers.
